Beef Roll-ups

1 lb. round steak (have butcher run through the tenderizer)
1 cup fine bread crumbs
1 package onion sour mix
6-8 pieces green stems of green onions, rinsed
1 32-once jar spaghetti sauce (or your own)
3 tbsp. Italian herbs
salt, pepper to taste

Add spices to spaghetti sauce and simmer till slightly thickened. Cut steak into 6 to 8 strips. (about 2 inches by 6 inches). Combine bread crumbs and onion soup mix. Salt and pepper strips, spoon 2 tablespoons of crumb mixture on steak and top with a piece of green onion. Roll up, starting at narrow end, and secure with toothpicks. Place in ovenproof baking dish, pour sauce on top and bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Serve with cooked spaghetti. Extra bread mixture may be stored.
