Green Springs Cheesecake

Crust:
2 cups ground cookies or graham crackers
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted

Mix crumbs and margarine together and press into springform pan. Prepare the filling.

Filling:
1 pound cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Creme together cream cheese, eggs, sugar and extracts until thoroughly blended and no lumps can be found. Pour filling into crust and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 25 minutes, or until done. Let cool to room temperature, then cover with topping.

Topping:
2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla together and pour over cooled cheesecake. Bake 8 minutes more at 325 degrees. Chill. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
