Mexican Wedding Cakes

1 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla (2 tsp. imitation)
Whisk together and mix with the above:
2-1/4 cups unbleached flour (unsifted)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped fine

Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven until delicately browned 15 to 18 minutes. Remember to grease pan. Remove from pan and roll in confectioners sugar while they are still warm. Makes about 4 dozen.
